How We Pace a Senior Move

• One room worked at a time, with the crew checking in before moving to the next, rather than working the whole house at once.
• Boxes labeled by room and by destination room at the new place, so nothing has to be sorted twice on the other end.
• A downsizing conversation before move day, if wanted — many senior moves involve a smaller new place, and we can flag what won’t reasonably fit before it’s loaded on the truck.
• Extra hands for stairs and narrow hallways common in older McKinney homes, without rushing the walkthrough beforehand.

A number of our senior moves come out of the older, established neighborhoods near the downtown McKinney square, where residents have often been in the same house for twenty or thirty years.
