About Delta One Moving Companies | McKinney, TX

Everett Doyle started Delta One Moving Companies in 2011 to close the gap between a moving quote and a moving invoice — and it's still the whole job.

We started Delta One Moving Companies in 2011 because Everett Doyle had spent too many years staring at one specific problem from the wrong side of it. Before he owned a single truck, he coordinated freight schedules for a Dallas-area logistics contractor, and part of that job was tracking the distance between a quoted cost and what actually got billed once a job wrapped up. He watched that gap grow, month after month, on work that had nothing to do with moving trucks — and then he watched McKinney neighbors go through the exact same thing after hiring a mover over the phone. So he bought seven trucks, hired a crew, and built this company around one rule: the number we write down before your move is the number on the invoice after it.

That rule is why our office runs quotes the way it does. Foster Delgado, our office manager since 2018, doesn’t price a move off a phone call — he walks the house with you in person or on a detailed video call, then puts a number in writing before anything gets scheduled. Colton Marsh, who joined as our dispatcher in 2020, builds every route sheet around the Sam Rayburn Tollway’s commute window instead of hoping traffic cooperates that day. On the truck, Deshawn Ruiz has led crews since 2017 and takes the older homes near the downtown McKinney square personally — narrow driveways, mature trees, and all. Emmett Solis, with us since 2020, handles the new-construction side of things out past Prosper and Celina, where the street signs sometimes go up after we’ve already been there. And Tobias Kincaid, who joined in 2022, manages our short-term storage and keeps the reschedule board sane whenever a February ice event throws a week off track.

What “zero gap” actually looks like on move day

It means we own the trucks and keep our crew on payroll instead of routing your move through a subcontractor or a stranger with a rental truck. It means a Collin County HOA gets its paperwork handled ahead of time instead of at the last minute. It means triple-digit July afternoons get an early loading start, and a spring severe-weather watch gets a backup plan instead of a surprise. None of that is complicated — it’s just the difference between a company that owns its outcome and one that’s reselling somebody else’s truck.

Fifteen years, roughly 8,200 completed moves, and about 1.4 million miles later, Everett still climbs into the truck himself for the tougher downtown McKinney jobs. If you’d like to talk with our office before booking, reach out or go straight to a free quote.

Why McKinney books us

Why choose Delta One Moving Companies?

One dedicated crew runs your move from the first call to the last box off the truck, in our own trucks, and the invoice matches what we told you on the phone.

Zero Gap, Every Invoice

The number you sign before move day is the number we collect after it — no add-on for a stuck elevator, a triple-digit afternoon, or extra padding on the truck.

Our Trucks, Our Payroll

Every hand on your load is a W-2 employee in our uniform — we don’t fill trucks with day-labor crews or pass your move to a subcontractor down the line.

Texas-Registered & Covered

Current Texas household-goods registration, cargo coverage riding on every haul, and a certificate of insurance to your HOA or property manager the same day you ask for one.

We Know These Streets

US-75 backing up solid on the Plano-to-McKinney commute, the narrow drives around the historic Downtown Square, a fresh subdivision off the US-380 corridor where the street signs just went in — all of it gets mapped out before your crew ever touches the truck.

A Real Person Answers

Call and a real McKinney office employee picks up — never an overseas script-reader. We hold to the arrival window we quote, and rebooking your date never comes with a penalty.

Treated like it’s ours

What happens to your things on the truck

Wrapped before it leaves the room

Every sofa, table, and dresser gets blanket-wrapped and shrink-filmed while it’s still sitting where you left it — nothing goes down the hallway bare.

Floors and door frames get covered first

Down go the floor runners and padding on every door jamb before a single box moves, so the walk out and the walk in both stay mark-free.

Beds and tables come apart and go back together

Cribs, dining tables, and bed frames get broken down for the ride and reassembled at the new place — you don’t touch a screwdriver.

Fragile items ride alone

Mirrors, artwork, glassware, and electronics get their own dedicated cartons with corner protection — never wedged between the couch cushions.

The truck does the lifting

Straps, dollies, and ramps take the weight of the heavy pieces, so nothing gets dragged, dropped, or muscled up a staircase.

Same hands, start to finish

Whoever wraps the first box is still there setting down the last one — no new faces show up partway through your move.

How it works

Three steps, no drama

01

Tell us the basics

Call in or use the site form with your starting ZIP, destination ZIP, and roughly how many rooms are moving. That’s enough for a firm number back the same day — no home visit needed, no charge just for asking.

02

Lock in your date

Once you confirm, that truck and crew are booked under your name for the day. Need paperwork sent to a property manager or HOA first? We handle that before move day gets here.

03

We show up and close the gap

Your crew shows up inside the promised window, pads and wraps everything that needs it, and the total on the invoice matches your quote — nothing extra tacked on.

Ready to lock in your date?

We handle every load like it’s our own stuff riding in the truck — a single price, a single crew, no substitutions midway through. Tell us where you’re headed and you’ll have a firm number back before the day is out.
